Regular attendance is essential for academic progress and smooth transition of
teaching learning process.
As per the norms of the CISCE, a minimum of 75% attendance of the working days is compulsory for a student to be considered eligible for appearing in the Final Examinations. Attendance is closely monitored throughout the academic year.
Whenever a student is absent, a leave application must be submitted to the Principal on the first day the student resumes school. The leave note must be written by the parents clearly stating the reason for absence along with the student’s name, class, and section.
In case a long leave is required, prior sanction from the Principal is mandatory. Students returning late after vacations must inform the school authorities in advance due to unavoidable circumstances.
Students suffering from contagious or infectious diseases are strictly not permitted to attend school until fully recovered, in the interest of the health and safety of all students.
Pupils are expected to be extremely regular and punctual. Absence or leave for frivolous or avoidable reasons is strongly discouraged and may invite disciplinary action.
Every student must be present on the reopening day after vacations so that academic activities can begin immediately without disruption.
Attendance rules are enforced to ensure academic continuity, discipline, and fairness. Parents are requested to cooperate fully with the school to maintain these standards.
